I was really bored just now and so I went viewing lots of profiles on friendster. Then I came across something really lame. There's this club calling up people who are mixed ( in the blood sense, have to be careful here, don't want people to sue me). Ok, so there's some people claiming to be mixed blood by claiming to be of Canadian-British-American heritage or of Canadian-British heritage. Isn't it hilarious???Then 99% of the population are all mixed blood. I think they can only be considered as 'countries-mixed' or 'continents-mixed' which I believe most of us are anyways. Like me, I'm of China, Singapore, Malaysia and Mongolia mixed. So am I a mixed blood? Of course not. That is the lamest club I've ever seen on friendster. Ok, to another topic. So far I've went for 2 swims. I was really hoping to see some cute lifeguards at the swimming pool. But the ones I saw at the public pool near my house are all the 'uncles' type. One of them (Malay somemore, no offence here)even chatted with me asking loads of question like, am I a poly or uni student, why u don't want to swim at ur sch, u know this person or not( btw, this person works in my sch's swimming pool). This is not the kind of scenario I imagined. Why can't I meet someone good-looking? I'm not shallow, it's just that my eyes haven't had a treat since I saw Takeshi Kaneshiro lookalike almost 2 years ago!!! What's more school is starting on next Monday which means that I have no hope of seeing cute guys at all. I was at Orchard yesterday when the countdown happened. There were like so many people (including the bangladeshs) spraying and shooting streamers at everyone and everywhere. I smelled of soap after my friends and I managed to survived that 10m walk ( I think) which seemed forever at that moment. Cars and buses were honking non-stop after 12am. I hope to go for a proper countdown next year like at a bar or something. At least I have no fear of getting molested by the banglahs.
